1958 Porsche Carrera GT Speedster

Matching number car with original engine, doors, deck, hood, floors, battery box, keys, locks, gauges, and interior.

Continuous ownership history since new starting w/ Bruce Jennings purchased from Hoffman in Jan 1958 w/ #84461 that is in the Collier Collection. Two identical cars, light Ivory, black interior, GT spec, back-to-back serial numbers documented in the Carrera book. 


First service at Competition Motors March 30th, 1958, with 2468 miles as per factory Kardex.
Significant West Coast race history while owned by Harry Weber. Weber painted black and ran with Playboy logo.


Dave Tatom 1st Place in San Francisco Regional Road Races, Leguna Seca 1960, cover story Sports Car Mag Jan 1961.


Don Dickey, John Grove, John Barneson and Barber, were other photo documented drivers.
Recent 100% fully documented engine build by Jeff Adams at Speed Sport Tuning in Connecticut. Converted to 12 Volt.


Recent brake rebuild with new lines, ATE wheel Cyls, wheel seals, bearings, etc.
Transmission with BBAB gearing (not matching) rebuilt by Sam Simpkins. New Konis, king and link pins at that time.


Original GT Brakes all around, original GT Tank, sender, GT tach,  Speedo, 5 correct GT Wheels and GT exhaust.


This Carrera GT represented the Porsche Factory during the NYC Porsche Artifacts book signing show.
The car was invited and shown at the 2024 Greenwich Concours.


Complete with fresh top by Paterek Brothers, original tool kit, spare and jack.
